Vendetta Ride :: a Halo 2 Xbox Live Montage :: slater ohm
Me and deathenator had great plans for a final montage this past summer, 1 part would be never used clips and 1 part 'best of'.
It didnt come to pass, now with MCC coming up I wanted to get my remaining unused clips out.
All gameplay is from xbl 2007-2010, probably the last montage to come out with pre-mcc halo 2 xbox live footage before mcc launch.
It's hard to keep track but I think like 90-95% has never been used and the rest not in anything major. You can view this as leftovers from my true Final Project Fashionably late , as is everything Ive released other than that for the past 4 years.
I tried to find everything I had left, but there's so many folders and external hard drives this is only an approximation.
I normally spend a lot of time on montages, I put a lot of thought into build up and song choice etc. I'm also not the whizzkid who pumps out a transition and has it down perfectly in a minute. I have to struggle, but I struggle pretty well. I did not have that option this time, also because I chose to spend the time I did have on reviving the forum and helping with the new site. Wanted to get enough clips in there so I couldnt fill another song with leftovers, so I broke some of my own editing rules here and there.
So I kept it simple, hopefully it's still entertaining.
The decent gameplay I had left was 1v1, Ive used most everything else already so 1v1 is what you'll be seeing until the last song.
Damn was really hoping for a full length 1v1 tremors tage, for real though that was awesome, so many legit skillful snipes in the 1v1s, always love the live capped moments, loled at Marruk getting wrecked when he was trashtalking haha. Also another thing i always enjoy in these videos with OG gameplay is the gametype names for the 1v1s, shits frozen in time, great vid slater
Love that you used The Who in this video, awesome. Also glad to see you release a ton of new clips. That was sick.
Marruk for best backflip.
Some of the 1v1 clips were nasty, I love the shots where you essentially didn't even know where your opponent was (or so it seemed) but then whip shot them as soon as they started shooting you. Also, that death screen on Burial Mounds (I think) was gold.
